Storm Of The Eons - Chapter 4

The Adventure Begins

Shiven turned and glared dangerously at Nova, Nova thought nothing of it and just stared smugly back at Shiven. Suddenly Shiven launched herself full force towards Nova, sending her reeling back and cracking the back of her head against the stone wall, where from there Shiven gripped her neck tightly threatening to choke her! Shiven then began screaming furiously into her face "what the hell did you do?! Why was ac3 not neutralized like the other two?! What the fuck did you miss out?!" Nova, gagging for breath & shuddering from the stench of Shiven's right in her face could do nothing but stutter and shake her head timidly, small tears beginning to form in her eyes, knowing that Shiven was much stronger than her & Meta would certainly not be happy! "Answer me!" Shiven yelled angrily. She loosened her grip on Nova's neck and at last, Nova was able to reply, "I-I-I don't know! I'm sorry! I swear I created him the exact same way as the other two! Please... I-I honestly don't know what I did wrong!" Nova began visibly crying and with that, Shiven released her and let her drop to the cold floor.
Then from out of nowhere, Meta appeared and began speaking severely to the girls "stop fighting you pair of children! I've disposed of the lot of them. Seems that the red one had the ability to revive the others from their hypnosis... I should have known he was too dangerous to be left alive... just like all the other ones... " Shiven was dumbfounded, and then spoke up in a timid tone "why... didn't you say that earlier?" Meta began hovering towards Shiven, stopped in front of her & gave her a sharp smack right across the right cheek! Shiven crippled, holding her cheek in agony while Meta was screaming at her "you should have been watching you fucking blind fool! It's your responsibility to observe them too! Not just mine!" next, Meta turned her attention to Nova and began approaching her, "and you. You had it dead certain that ac3 was under control like AA1 & AB2! What the hell did you not do?" Nova was shaking, but didn't back down. Instead, she replied defiantly "I don't know, and neither you nor Shiven can make me know!" once again, Meta spoke "don't you dare take that tone with me!" and back to that, Nova irritably shouted "I'll take that tone with anyone who treats me like shit!" and then... Meta stopped. It had only just occurred to her that having a pointless argument over something that was already gone, would do the three no good. Finally Shiven recovered and was hovering upright again, but with a throbbing red rash across her cheek. She then said calmly "looks like we're all going to have to go back to square one... " Nova nodded submissively and Meta just turned away, muttering to herself "looks like were gonna have to... " at once, Meta began to fly from the room and disappeared. Leaving Nova & Shiven behind to make up for their fight before Meta arrived. "I love the way Meta manages to stop our fighting." Nova said jokingly to Shiven, in return Shiven gave a little laugh and replied "yeah, me too... " All joking aside, the two girls set straight to work on creating a new tranquilizer dart for another human victim...

I awoke... gasping for air as I slowly came to. My head was unfeasibly sore again from the crash down onto a surface of... "soft grass" I thought to myself as I gently felt around below me. The ground was soft, luscious green grass... I looked up above to see a clear blue sky, like I was back home again. Although I was still in my Latios body, so nope. Things were by far from back to normal. It was a struggle to get myself up... the trip down that void must have killed my strength, so now I couldn't even get up without a problem anymore. After five... no... More like ten minutes, I at last managed get myself into the air & hovering upright. Turning round, I noticed the other two Latios were still here with me! So without hesitation, I glided down to the teal one. He was lying there, completely motionless, seeming almost dead. I gave him a gentle shake, speaking to him in a rather worried voice "hey, wake up. Everything is fine now, were alright." before I knew it, he began to move slightly, moaning as he awoke, obviously in the same pain that I was. Gently, I pulled him up by his side to roll over and now be lying on his back, trying to make it easier for him to breathe. At last, he opened his eyes and gazed up into the blue sky, happy to see the light of day once again. As he recovered his strength he pulled up to be sitting. I asked him "you okay?" he replied with a simple nod & murmured "mhmm... " under his breath. Immediately, he looked over to the purple Latios, still lying dead on the ground. I wasted no time in gliding smoothly over to him and giving him a gentle shake. Quickly he awoke and with a struggle, eventually sat upright too. The teal Latios then weakly rose into the air and glided over to me, where he stopped in front of me as I turned around to face him. "Good to see you can still fly." I said to him, he replied quietly "yeah, you too" next thing, he leaned in and timidly licked my swollen black eye which made me blush a little, and then saying after "again, I'm sorry about that eye of yours... " I dismissively replied "don't worry about it... I've had worse pain before... ""You sure?" he spoke back hastily. I just stared at him blankly as if to say "what did I just say?" this made him feel rather dumb, so he turned away, trying to hide the embarrassment. Quickly, I turned back round to see that the purple Latios was already up and hovering in the air which made me jump a little and remark "ah good, you're okay too" he quietly spoke back "yeah... I think so... " Suddenly the thought came into my mind which made me speak it out, "do you have a name, by any chance?" suddenly he stopped and thought, then said "yeah... if you count ab2." I shuddered "ugh... get rid of that already." the Latios looked down and muttered "well... as a human... my name was once... Mike" "Mike... well you're not human anymore, so think of a new name for yourself" I replied. A couple of minutes passed and he finally came up with the name, "Laticer... call me Laticer." I smiled and hovered over to him, giving him a good pat on the back which made him purr gently, "okay, Laticer." my attention turned to the teal Latios, I then said to him "what about you? Do you have a name..?" he looked at me for couple of seconds, and then looked away again "don't call me by my human name" he muttered quietly "I don't like it... " I decided that it would be better not to ask him what it was, so instead, I just said "well you're not human now, so we'll call you... hmmmmm... Latiar" instantly he turned to look at me with a smile on his face and spoke cheerfully, "I like it!" "That's good then." I said, smiling back to him. Next thing Laticer came up to hover beside me and spoke "now we just need a name for you." I looked down and went into consideration, then looked back up and said "well... while we were falling down that void, the instant I passed out I heard some female voice whisper the word, "Vamicius" to me. Considering it sounds cool, and I can't really care about what my name is, I think I'll just use that!" Latiar looked over to Laticer who nodded, and then both of them spontaneously said at the same time "Vamicius." Laticer continued on, "sounds good." giving a grin of delight. I couldn't help but blush at this, but to cut it out I hastily spoke "okay... now what?" soon enough, Latiar replied "we find those bitches and stop them from changing more people into Latis." Laticer said in response "sounds good, but where do we start?" next I cut in and remarked "... wait... Meta said I was their third test subject come to a success. Keywords; to a success! That must mean that there were more tests before us who were unsuccessful" Latiar added in "and their idea of unsuccessful must be that they were not brainwashed like me and... Laticer" Laticer finalized "that's it! So now we've just got to look for those others to assist us in taking out those mental freaks" I filled in with "considering we were dumped here, I assume those other Latis must not be too far away, let's start looking for them!" Laticer killed the buzz with "how are we gonna do that? We don't even know where to start." suddenly I was filled with dismay, "you're right... " I said sorrowfully. Latiar then held up his paw and sniffed, saying "wait... I'm picking up scents of them... one of them isn't too far from here; maybe somewhere within the radius of a square kilometer." Laticer sighed and suddenly, a shrill ringing noise pierced through my head which made me hold it in my paws & tense up. While I closed my eyes, the next thing I saw was several images flashing through right before my eyes, scenes of several different environments... but it was over the instant it started, and I was brought back by Latiar laying his paw on my back and asking, "You okay Vamicius?" I looked up and turned round to him, saying "yeah, I'm alright. I know where the Lati here is, follow me!" and with that, I rose up higher into the air and began flying towards an abundance of trees that probably made up a forest, leaving Latiar & Laticer behind. They began frantically flying after me, shouting "hey! Wait up!" "Slow down!" I took no notice, only focusing on looking for that lost Lati. I came to a clearing, and a few seconds later, Latiar & Laticer stopped behind me. "Okay, which way now?" I asked, "I thought you knew where they were" replied Laticer "well I've lost them" I said in dismay "how could you lose them?" he replied in an annoyed tone. "Wait, I can smell them" Latiar cut in. He sniffed for a minute and eventually said "follow me!" and flew off to the left. Me and Laticer just looked at each other and shrugged, then did as instructed and followed after Latiar.
After a few minutes of dodging trees and flying through plants, the three of us finally stopped in front of what seemed to be a huge cave, and from inside, we suddenly heard a female voice cry "help me!! Somebody help me!!" we all looked at each other, hesitated for a second, and then finally decided to inspect. "What do you think is in there?" whispered Laticer "I don't know... " Replied Latiar "whatever it is, it stinks" I remarked as the foul smell of fish filled my nose. Latiar wretched and covered his nose as we moved forward, while Laticer and myself just held our breaths. "In we go." gagged Latiar from behind his paw, and as we moved forward and into the cave, the darkness enveloped us, like going into a dark, dreamless sleep again. Once more we heard the female voice crying and yelling "is someone there? Oh God please help me!!" I shouted "don't worry, we're gonna help you!" suddenly two fire stands in the cave from behind us caught light, and what we saw next before us, sent shivers right down into the tips of our tail fins!

"Please get me out of this!!"
